About The Stevenage Club

The Stevenage club is the headquarters of the English Shotokan Karate Association. The Stevenage club was first opened in 1976 by Hanshi Michael Nursey who still runs the senior class on a Monday 19:30 – 20:30. The main club 18:30 – 19:30 is run by Sensei Graham Fountain 2nd Dan.

The Stevenage club is also the venue for the association gradings and competitions. These are held usually on Sunday mornings.

Stevenage is the headquarters of ESKA with our instructors having over a century of teaching experience combined.
