About The Takeley & Little Canfield Club

Takeley & Little Canfield Karate Club (TLC Karate Club) is Karate club in the heart of the Essex countryside, which adopts a family friendly approach with a community atmosphere.

The newest club to form under the English Shotokan Karate Association (ESKA),  it is run by two Senior Dan Grade Instructors Sensei Paul Raymond (7th Dan) and Sensei Glenn Hildyard (5th Dan).

Both Instructors have trained for well over 20 years within ESKA and also with other associations and in other Martial Arts and have a wealth of knowledge teaching Karate to all abilities and levels.

Classes are designed to give students an excellent all round knowledge of Karate as well as self defence knowledge in a controlled, lively and friendly environment.   Both instructors are fully qualified, insured and enhanced DBS certified and follow a strict child protection policy.

We very much welcome children and adults of all abilities.
