On the weekend of 7/8th April a few of the students from the Hatfield/Birchwood/Codicote clubs went down to Sittingbourne in Kent to take part in the AMA Southern Competition.
I thought it would be a good idea to check it out ahead of potentially committing the whole of the ESKA squad next year… Read on to see how we got on.
Every year the AMA (Amature Martial Association) hold their International Competition and invite amature Martial Artists to compete in Kumite or Kata categories.
This years competition will be held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield. It runs across the weekend of 3rd & 4th March 2018.
Today we heard of the very sad news that Sensei Mick Randall passed away. As you may know, ESKA had a number of founding members of which Sensei Mick Randall was one of them.
Today we heard of the very sad news that Shihan Hirokazu Kanazawa passed away. As you may know, ESKA closely follow the traditional teaching’s of Shihan Kanazawa having himself been taught by Masatoshi Nakayama and Gichin Funakoshi.
